My dog won’t do a Quantum Leap

This Post has nothing to do about Traffic, except perhaps we will need to keep Jack the dog away from it.

He’s getting so old now, it’s hard to get him to scratch himself, yet alone try to avoid traffic.
Some time ago we saw Michael Cheney teaching his dog to do a Quantum Leap.
Pretty impressive really, so we thought to ourselves
“We can Teach old Jack to do that, no worries”
Well this is the closest he got, at least he lost the look of absolute terror he usually has in his eyes when put in any position higher than thick socks. What a sook!
So to avoid being reported for cruelty to animals, we have given up.  Yep, Jack was rescued from the chair and given a scratch behind the ear and a doggie treat, then sent back to do what he normally does when being a dog, trying to make friends with the cat.
This is where jack is still trying to figure it all out.
The family got a cat, so therefore the dog got a cat right? That was OK with Jack, but then it also comes about that the cat got a dog, only makes sense right?
Well not to the cat, The dog tries to make friends with the cat, but the cat just wants to make all this fuss about not wanting a dog, and makes all these hissing noises, and just holds up a paw, and Jack runs away.
I know theyll be freinds one day, but the cat has more time than Jack, he’s getting old.
